Ref. 10711 - Maratea is the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian and has always had the 5 Legambiente sails (maximum level) and the Blue Flag since it was established. Maratea has 25 km of coast and more than 30 beaches of various types. It won the prize for the Most Beautiful Beach in Italy (I'vranni) and every year it plays host to the Cinefestival with many world-renowned actors. The large port which allows mooring for boats up to 25 metres is dominated by the famous Statue of Christ the Redeemer (the second-highest in the world after Rio de Janeiro).
Maratea is just a short distance from Matera (European Capital of Culture 2019).
In this splendid and unique context, in the most elegant hamlet of Maratea we find VILLA DILU': unique in its kind, an elegant and refined summer residence, published in The Word of Interiors of London (1998, the year in which it was built).
The villa is very interesting, in fact, it is an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 19th century restored with some materials such as wooden trusses and parquet from the 1400s. It covers an area of about 10,000 square metres over two levels with a large vegetable garden, numerous fruit trees with over 30 types of fruit, a 100-year-old vineyard and a vegetable garden cultivated by the caretaker/gardener with fresh and organic vegetables which can be collected and enjoyed throughout most of the year.
The garden is completed by a very elegant swimming pool with direct access from the garden and from the patio of the villa, surrounded by three rows of tall Spanish cypresses
